Hello, Wade In The Word readers! This week we had a guest writer, my lovely wife, Amy. I thank God for her and she is truly a blessing from The Lord. Please give her a warm welcome. I know you will enjoy her post as much as I have!

Billy has been after me for a while to be a guest writer for his blog and over the past several months I’ve said, “Oh, I have a great idea for a post,” but then just never got around to writing it. Well this time the idea came with a compelling spirit that I couldn’t ignore. So here we are …

I love quiet Sundays when we get home from church and have absolutely nothing on the calendar that we have to do image… no place that we have to go. Weekend before last I had one of those Sundays. So despite the snow on the ground and chill in the air, I decided to get out my spring decor for the house. Time to say goodbye to the “Let it Snow” snowman wreath and the evergreen mantel swag till next winter. Time to say hello to floral bouquets, canvas bunnies and signs that say, “Happy Spring.” It’s always a lot of work to pack up a season’s worth of decor and drag out a new one. But, it’s so worth it when you look around and see the new season coming to life in your home.
